Klickitat Process Service provides professional, reliable process serving throughout Klickitat County and surrounding areas. Because our service area includes an abundance of rural roads, varied terrain, and remote locations, pricing is based on time required rather than distance alone.

Our goal is to provide fair, predictable billing that reflects the actual work involved in completing service.

Routine Services
$80.00 / Hour
One-Hour Minimum

Our hourly rate is a blended rate and includes:

1. Routine Travel Time and Mileage
2. Service Attempts & Waiting Time
3. Proof of Service Affidavit
4. Status Updates and Reporting

Server will make first attempt within 4 business days, and three attempts total within 10 business days, unless instructed otherwise.

Printing Fees
25 Cents / Page

The first 20 pages are provided at no charge. Additional pages are billed at $0.25 per page to cover printing and handling costs.

Posting, Publishing, and Mailing Materials

Time spent coordinating, preparing, or accommodating posting, publishing, or mailing requirements is billed at the Routine Service rate.

Any materials or third-party costs incurred for posting, publishing, or mailing are billed to the client at cost plus a 35% administrative markup.

Rush Service
$50.00 Flat Fee

Server will make first attempt within 2 business days

Server will make up to three delivery attempts within 7 business days

Next Day Service
$75.00 Flat Fee

Server will make first attempt within 1 business day

Server will make up to three delivery attempts within 5 business days

Same Day Service
$100.00 Flat Fee

Otherwise, Server will default to the Next Day Service Rate

After-Hours Service
$150.00 Flat Fee

An after-hours service fee applies when service is requested or required between 9:00PM and 6:00 AM, or when service is requested or required on a weekend or recognized holiday.

Directed Timing / Handling
$50.00 Flat Fee

Applies when service requires specific delivery timing or coordination at the client’s request.

Multiple Documents
$10.00 Per Affidavit

When multiple documents are served in a single assignment, a $10.00 fee may apply.

If the volume or format of documents requires the completion of additional Proof of Service Affidavits, an additional $10.00 fee per affidavit will be charged.

Additional affidavit fees are uncommon and apply only when the number of documents served is sufficiently extensive to require separate affidavits.

Multiple Entities at Same Address
50% Reduced Rate for Additional Entities (Same Attempt)

When multiple entities are served at the same address during the same service attempt, the first entity is billed at the full rate, and each additional entity is billed at 50% of the standard rate.

If service on any additional entity requires separate or subsequent attempts, those attempts will be billed at the full applicable rate.

This reduced rate applies only when all entities are available and served during the same attempt.
