Terms and Legal

All services are billed at the hourly rate described on the Services and Fees page as Routine Service.

Billing is calculated in half-hour increments, rounded up to the next nearest half hour.

Unless otherwise instructed in advance, the server will make up to three (3) service attempts as part of routine service. If the client requests additional attempts, or provides alternate instructions, any additional service time will continue to be billed at the applicable hourly rate.

Service time includes travel, attempts, waiting, and documentation.

For more information about pricing, please visit our Services and Fees Page.

For an estimate by location, please visit our Estimates Page.

For Private individuals, first-time clients, and out-of-area clients, the Proof of Service Affidavit will be provided upon receipt of full payment, unless otherwise agreed in advance. Attorneys and established firms with approved billing arrangements will receive Proof of Service in accordance with standard invoicing terms.

Invoices are issued to the client or requesting party upon completion of service and are delivered electronically when an email address is provided. If no email address is available, invoices will be mailed.

Payment is due upon receipt and must be made by cash or check to the address listed on the invoice.

Invoices remaining unpaid for more than fifteen (15) days may result in the suspension or refusal of future services until all outstanding balances are paid in full.

Clients are required to disclose any known safety risks associated with a service request. This includes, but is not limited to, information indicating that the subject may be involved in criminal activity, has a history of violence, or is known to possess weapons, including non-lethal or less-lethal devices.

Failure to disclose known safety risks may result in delays, refusal of service, or additional charges.

The client must specify that all addresses are to be attempted simultaneously. Otherwise, the first address listed will be attempted until attempts have been exhausted or bad address, before moving on to the next address.

Any service that cannot be completed due to incorrect address, the subject moved, subject is not known, deceased, attempts have been exhausted, or the service has been cancelled by client, will not be discounted and charged at full rate.

If the service is cancelled by the client before it is attempted, the documents will be returned and no charge will be incurred.

If the service is cancelled by the client after an attempt has been made, the documents will be returned and charged at the full rate.
