Firwood is a very small community nestled amongst the foothills of the Simcoe Mountains.

Pleasant Valley is another rural community known for its open countryside and quiet residential areas.
Columbia Gorge
White Salmon
White Salmon the fastest growing community in the Columbia River Gorge, home to many new and established businesses and neighborhoods.
Bingen
Bingen is a smaller town located just below the cliffs that White Salmon is perched on.
Dallesport
Dallesport is a community located along the Columbia River, directly across the river from The Dalles, Oregon.
Lyle
Lyle is a small town located along the Columbia River that attracts many wind sport enthusiasts due it’s many ‘launch’ options in the area.
Murdock
Located just east of Lyle, is this small town. Check out Shriner Farms if you’re ever in the area for some exciting exotic wildlife viewing.
Wishram
Home to a historic locomotive, Wishram is a small town that was established when the railways were being constructed through the Columbia Gorge.
Maryhill
If you dream of orchards and wineries abound, Maryhill is the place to visit!
Towal
Towal used to be the site of Klickitat County’s aluminum plant.
Roosevelt
Home to the Klickitat County landfill as well as many rural and agricultural properties.

Trout Lake is a rural community located near the southern slopes of Mount Adams.
BZ Corner
A small rural community located near the White Salmon River; a world famous whitewater rafting and kayaking recreation site.
Husum
Another small community located on Hwy 141. You’ll pass through here on your way to BZ Corner and Trout Lake
Glenwood
Glenwood is located just east of Trout Lake near the southern slopes of Mount Adams.
Snowden
Snowden is a small rural community located just north of White Salmon.

Appleton is best described by it’s agricultural land, open countryside, and rural residences.
